I just finished upgrading the http://mosaiclafilmfest.com site design.

Something about the previous site design wasn't working for me. The second level navigation wasn't clear, the headers looked dumb, and the main content was too wide to comfortably read. So I opened Illustrator and started redesigning.

Upgrades
* horizontally centered navigation bars
* information blocks on both sides of main content to decrease measure and improve paragraph readability (for more information, see http://www.markboulton.co.uk/journal/comments/five-simple-steps-to-bette...)
* image gallery thumbnails fit the css framework
* removed borders on block and page headers and changed them to centered allcaps
* added footer
* improved readability of lists
